What meaning: ” truth shall make you free”/

In the eighth chapter of the Gospel of John, Jesus explains the question of truth, the knowledge of truth, and the work of the truth in persons

Unfortunately, today we find many people are shortcuting the context of the speech and taking part of the context.

The Savior, before addressing the issue of truth, which is the outcome of the work  that precedes access to the essence of truth, He has indicated to the  essential isuues,  in the context of the words  that  said by Himself, in which is directed exclusively to the human groups who has believed in Him, that  the faith may decays and dissolves does not produce the right.

So in the beginning of the speech  Jesus  said to  those who "believed on him", :

" If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free

Therefore, in the beginning the person must reach the faith, which is in itself insufficient, because in order to continue in the faith needs to be steadfast in the Holy Word, which in Orthodox life is linked to the sacred tradition which is based on the the Holy Bible, Because discipleship  not formed randomly, but through persistence in  the  essential bases of the  faith,

So, there is no   faith in a irrational thing, For this the sacred tradition is one of the most important foundations of the steadfastness of faith, Which leads to the stage of discipleship , which produces the knowledge of the truth, and then the truth becomes effective and leads to the liberation of the person, so the person is able to distinguish the truth and thus become free from all the liar who is evil

In this way, who relies on imperfect verses, is really far from the stage of faith and persistence, because he/she in such way  distort the path leading to the goal which is  knowing the truth.

In the same chapter, we find Christ asked:
"Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word."

This is a true, because many are unable to hear the whole word, they cut off the speech and takes a separate parts, so that they become far from understanding the context, And this distracts them away from  persistence, And thus lose faith,

The result those  groups become far from knowing the truth.
