Why we do make candles for our
church from pure oils and pure
honey?
In the sacred tradition of the Orthodox Church, the candle has a special meaning:
Lighting of the oil
symbolizes to the permanent readiness and to ensure continuous and
keep the work of the Holy Spirit in the heart.
The Lord tells: "Let your loins be girded about, and
your lights burning;"
So we make pure
candles from most precious oils such as honey or other kind of pure oil
When Honey, and other
precious oils becoming lit,
it forms the purity, and provides pure fire, where we
provide to our Lord only the purity, which lies
in the pure fire, so
this kind of candle produce the purest fire.

لماذا نصنع
الشموع من الزيوت النقية
و شهد العسل
النقي
في التقليد
المقدس للكنسية الارثوذكسية، الشمعة
النقية لها معنى
خاص
ان إضاءة الزيت، يرمز إلي الاستعداد الدائم والسهر المستمر
ويقول لنا الرب
عن هذا الاستعداد (لتكن أحقاؤكم ممنطقة وسرجكم موقدة
نحن نصنع
هذه الشموع من الزيوت
النقية او العسل
النقي الذي هو في اساسه
يعتبر انقى انواع
الزيوت و اثمنها
فاصبحت شمعة
العسل او الزيت
النقي تضاء لتحرق
و تقدم النقاء
المسقول بالنار الى
جانب سراج الزيت،
حيث ربنا لا يقدم له الا النقاء
، و حيث ان نار شمعة الزيت
النقي يشكل انقى
نار و ابهى ضياء.
