O Orthodoxy,

وجد القديس نكتاريوس نفسه مقطوعاً، مُبعَداً، مشوّه السمعة. حيث أضحت حياته سلسلة من المحن كأنها لا تنتهي، فلا يكاد يمرّ نهارٌ من دون شقاء ومرارة وهموم وفخاخ تُنصَب له هنا وهناك، ومؤامرات صغيرة وكبيرة تُحاك ضدّه كما لو كان إنساناً خطيراً. والحقّ أنه هكذا كان خطيراً ولكن، بوداعته وصبره.
لقد لاحقه عدّوه في كل مكانٍ لاسيّما من خلال
ذوي النفوس الصغيرة، وعدوّه كان إبليس، حيث إبليس لديه
في العالم ألف عميل وعميل
أمّا هو فكان
كعادته يبذل كلّ طاقاته وجهوده كي يخدم بالطريقة الأفضل، فكان يعطي نفسه دون
حسبان في سبيل الآخرين وخلاص نفوسهم.

عرف
القديس نيكتاريوس ان الشيطان يحارب الارثوذكسية
من خلال استخدامه لبعض الاساقفة و القائمين عليها، و
علم ان كوارث سوف تصيبها، و ان
الشيطان سوف يخترقها
فقال
أيتها
الأرثوذكسية، تعصف بكِ آلاف الأرياح، وتحاربك آلاف القوات المظلمة وتثور، تريد
اقتلاعك
من العالم وتكافح لانتزاعك من قلوب الناس. أرادوا أن يجعلوا
منك أملاً مفقوداً، متحفاً وماضياً مأساوياً وتاريخاً مرّ عليه الزمن
وانتهى. إلا أن الله القدير، الثالوث القدوس المحسن الكليّ الوداعة والحكمة، هو
الذي يسيطر على هذه الفوضى، ويرميك في زاوية أبعد ما يمكن عن التوقع ويغطّيك
كوردة تحت صخرة. إنه يحافظ عليك في نفوس أبسط الناس، الذين ليس لهم أية سلطة أو
معرفة دنيوية. وها أنتِ باقية حتى اليوم. ها أنت لا تزالين حيّة موجودة تغذّين
الأجيال الناشئة، وتفلحين كل بقعة جيدة من الأرض، وتوزعين قوة وحياة وسماءً
ونوراً وتفتحين للناس أبواب الأبدية
و
نحن نقول لك ياقديس الله العلي،
استرح، لاننا لن نهدأ و لن نتخلى عن
ارثوذكسيتنا، و انت من مكانك المقدس لا
تهملنا بصلواتك، فالحرب هوجاء، و المحاربون
لابسوا الشيطان، يبيعون بكنائسها و مقدساتها،
يعقدون الصفقات و المؤامرات، و يبازرون
على المؤمنين بقوتهم، يدعمون قوى الظلام،
ايها
العجائبي، ضع يدك معك المدافعين ضد قوى
الشر و لابسوا الشر، فنحن على العهد الى
النهاية
